Iron sulfate as by-product was created by Archived Forum Admin
Dear All,
does anybody has any experience with crystallization of iron sulfate heptahydrate from spent sulfuric acid liquors? I would like to know how much a crystallization plant could cost, and if the process has any drawback.
Thanks in advance!
Rudolf

Hi Rudolf,

the company I work for has recently converted to mechanical descaling of all our rod prior to wiredrawing.

We currently have a acid recovery plant for sale. It is about 30 years old, and may require some work, but when it was working we were making good crystals.

Regards

Jack
