Thank you for your inquiry about John Mordica.
I can furnish you with some details that I found with a quick search through our archives of Wire & Wire Products and the Wire Journal International magazines.
Specifically, I can send you PDFs of the following:
- an excerpt from an article in the January, 1995, Wire Journal International (pp. 48-9) marking the 65th anniversary of Wire Association International and describing Mordica's role in WAI's early years during his term as its first president from 1931 to 1936
- his obituary from the August, 1937, issue of Wire & Wire Products, which included a resolution from the association's directors honoring Mordica
- an introduction of the first Mordica Memorial Lecture from the January, 1940, Wire & Wire Products

Bob,
Were you a member of Scout Troop 168 at Calvery United Methodist Church in the late 40"s? Do you have a brother named Don? Did you have a large train layout in your attic?
IF the answer to any of these questions is yes then I have found a an old friend.
Regards,
Don Raymond
