Terminal
1) A metal wire termination point that is designed to handle one or more conductors, and to be attached to a board bus or block with mechanical fasteners or clips, or bare wire ends. Basic types include ring tongue, spade, flag, hook, blade, quick connect, offset and flanged. Special types include taper pin, taper tab and others, either insulated or non-insulated. 2) Facility at which information is gathered and disseminated within a communications network.
