Roll Diameter Calculator Circuit

An electrical circuit used in conjunction with a wire-tensioning regulator and which requires a DC tachometer on the centerwind reel motor for speed indication purposes. Its main advantage is that it provides for taking the reel build-up range by any desired amount of field control while the remainder of the range is automatically taken by the armature voltage.
