Drawn Wire Test

A test to evaluate the brittleness of a drawn product. Drawn wire is wrapped around its own diameter in a spiral form, unwrapping it and rewrapping it. The resulting spiral is then compared to a quality rating demerit chart that may reveal micro-cracking and other surface problems.
