Hi Lawrie;

Sorry Lawrie but I cannot divulge that information because if I named the country, you would immediately know the company. Copper however was not working in India when he posted to the Forums. Many technical people from India contract elsewhere as I am sure you know.

That is a huge trip you are taking. Good luck and stay safe. The drivers over there are not exactly concerned with the rules of the road. I was in India for a bit over 12 weeks earlier this year in the "hot" season. Being from Canada where 35C is quite uncommon, I had no understanding of what hot really meant. I also found the word "Kingfisher" to have a whole new meaning, thank goodness. (I am not talking about the airline.)

While it is sometimes prudent not to divulge personal info on this (or any site), there is also the opportunity to personal message to any poster. The idea of this site however is to try to get problem and solutions out into the open for all to see and review.

Anyone can also figure out where people are logging in from via a Whois lookup using the noted ip address.

In addition to bar/casting problems there might be a problem with the copper cathode, copper scrap, etc. that is fed into the melting pot.

torsion testing info can be found by ordering the following
