Hello again,
As I recall, Davis-Standard ( www.davis-standard.com/ ) developed a screw expressly for Megolon in the late 1970s or very early 1980s. In fact, I recall discussing the screw design with Norton Wheeler. We purchased a screw and it worked well.
Magnesium Hydroxide Mg(OH)2
Magnesium hydroxide, otherwise known as milk of magnesia, is commonly used as an antacid or a laxative. The mineral form of magnesium hydroxide is known as brucite.
Application
A reasonably harmless flame retardant for plastics and rubber(PE,PP,ABS,HIPS,Nylon,PVC,Elastomers etc)
- A chemical component of electric wire insulation, conveyer belt and contruction materials.
- A filler
Toxicity
Magnesium hydroxide interferes with the absorption of folic acid and iron. The diarrhea caused by magnesium hydroxide carries away much of the body's supply of potassium, and failure to take extra potassium will lead to muscle cramps.
- Ingestion - Safe in small amounts, but large amounts can be dangerous.
- Inhalation - May cause irritation.
- Skin - May cause irritation.
- Eyes - May cause irritation
Sincerely,

Can you tell me from whom you are procuring your LSZH Compound and which grade? I can tell you the CR Ratio and other details after I receive above information.
