Hello sachin_shaha,

Originally Cumar was an early contamination source of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). It was a coating used on the inside of concrete farm silos and was first formulated in 1941. This is not what you are referring to but we have put it here to eliminate any confusion.

In today's World, coumarone resin is a thermoplastic resin obtained by polymerization of indene and coumarone. It is used in coatings, paint, asphalt tile and as a plasticizer in un-vulcanized rubber. Please see the following HallStar Company Product Information Sheet for Suprmix Cumar® P-10 (A free flowing powder.) www.hallstar.com/pis.php?product=14844 On the other hand, Cumar® P-10 is a viscous liquid. Some of your queries are answered in a few sentences at the HallStar URL above.

Cumar is a resin use on the bead wire to protect the bronze plated coating of the wire which gives adherence to the rubber of the bead of the tires and helps as well with the adherence.
